Shelby Foland

Shelby is an Education and Living Exhibit Specialist at the Science Mill. Previously, she spent eight years as a zookeeper in Angleton, specializing in crocodilians. She graduated from the University of Houston Clear Lake with a degree in environmental science. Beyond work, Shelby enjoys tending to her pets and partaking in outdoor activities such as kayaking and paddleboarding. She believes that by engaging in nature and learning, people can develop a greater appreciation for the environment. Looking forward, Shelby aims to continue her work in science education, creating engaging programs to foster a love for nature and learning.
