The Science Mill, in partnership with Johnson City ISD, has formed a community First Robotics Competition Team open to all High School age students in Blanco County. In our hands-on environment, students learn STEM skills such as engineering, CAD design and coding through annual competitions. In addition to the robot design and fabrication, our team learns the ins-and-outs of organizational leadership, marketing, community outreach, fundraising, digital design and more!

FIRST inspires young people to be science and technology leaders and innovators by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that build self-confidence, communication, and leadership.
