Jeff Wheatcraft

As an educator, Jeff focused on creating in-depth experiences where students took the content that they learned in the classroom and applied it to real-world problems.  This led to him creating the STEM program at Alamo Heights Junior School, where students uniquely developed solutions to problems that they fabricated and tested for viability.  The STEM program earned him numerous accolades including being named the 2019 Texas Teacher of the Year and the Trinity Prize for Teaching Excellence.  After 16 years of teaching, Jeff wanted to pursue impacting education on a large scale and left the classroom to join the Science Mill where he takes the experiences garnered from the classroom and expands them to schools and districts across the state of Texas.
