MADDIE CLENDENING

Maddie joined the Science Mill team in January 2025 as the Strategic Projects Specialist. In this role, they are focused on building and maintaining long-lasting connections with rural SCI Camp partners across Texas. Originally from Arkansas, Maddie moved to Austin to pursue a Master’s in Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin, specializing in LGBTQIA+ studies, nonprofit management, and carceral justice reform. Outside of the Science Mill, they teach ceramics in the Austin area and spend a lot of time with the sweetest dachshund ever, Arlo.
